Veranstaltungen finden in ganz Baden-Württemberg statt. So werden beispielsweise zahlreiche Rathäuser „gestürmt“, etwa in Karlsruhe. Am Bodensee wird der „Konstanzer Blätz“ (eine lokale Karnevalsfigur) seiner Gefängniszelle entlassen und vom Rathaus begnadigt, um bis Aschermittwoch wieder Unwesen zu treiben.Die schwäbisch-alemannische Fasnet (Karneval) beginnt allerdings erst an Weihnachten am 6. Januar (Heilige Drei Könige). Bis dahin ruhen die Traditionen – sprich die Kostüme der Narren verstauben im Schrank. Trotzdem ist schon sollte der kleinen Spaß erlaubt sein.

This is when the stone figure, the “Blecker,” comes into play.

Although the carnival season officially starts in January, by November 11th, revelers are already out and about in many places in Baden-Württemberg.
The Swabian-Alemannic Fasnet (carnival) actually doesn’t begin until Epiphany on January 6th. Until then, the traditional costumes of the revelers remain in the closet. Nevertheless, a little fun is allowed even before then.

Karneval: Rathäuser rund um Heilbronn werden gestürmtAn diesem Dienstag zur Bühlerzeller (Schwäbisch Haller Landkreis) wird sich ein Umzug inklusive Sturmbesuch am Rathaus formieren. Es beginnt natürlich um 11:11 Uhr. Der Bürgermeister wird gerügt und seines Amtes bis Aschermittwoch enthoben. Auch in Igersheim (Main-Tauber-Kreis) werden die „Kalroben“ (Narren) das Rathaus stürmen. Die Heilbronner Carneval Gesellschaft und die Wimpfener Carneval Gesellschaft (LK Heilbronn) gehen in die Saison 2017. Auch die Bischemer Kröten aus Tauberbischofsheim (Main-Tauber Runde) tragen ebenfalls zum Karnevalseröffnungs-Fest bei. Die „Strumpfkapp Ahoi“ aus Lauda (Main-Tauber-Kreis) hält sich an die Tradition und wird bereits wie gewohnt am Narrenbrunnen zur Kampagneröffnung aufspielen.
